मौसमी तथा बेमौसमी सजीवन खेति ब्यबसाय संचालनMithila Krishi Tatha Pashu Panchi Form is an individual farmer-based initiative actively engaged in vegetable cultivation and goat rearing with support from local government and some government agencies. The farm has recently received a grant from DGM Nepal to expand its agricultural activities.
Under this support, the farm has established a Moringa plantation on 16 kattha of land. The primary focus of the project is to produce Moringa leaves and convert them into powder, creating value-added products for both consumption and sale. This activity not only provides additional income for the farmer but also contributes to environmental sustainability by promoting the utilization of local resources and reducing wastage.
The initiative also plans to collect Moringa leaves from the surrounding community and process them into powder, which can generate income opportunities for other local community members. By encouraging others to plant Moringa trees and sell leaves, the project supports local employment and entrepreneurship, while simultaneously promoting sustainable agricultural practices and environmental conservation.
Overall, the project integrates livelihood improvement, community engagement, and ecological benefits, making it a model for small-scale, sustainable Moringa farming and value addition in the region.
