Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM)

In order to deal with any request for information or complaint within the framework of the DGM Nepal project , the Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM) is created, which aims to ensure that all requests for information and complaints made by Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities (IPLC) and other persons interested in and related to the DGM; issues related including the approval of sub-projects, representation on the National Steering Committee (NSC) and the Global Steering Committee (GSC) and in general the management and operation of the DGM Nepal are:

  • Properly Recorded
  • Receive timely attention and resolution
  • Reported in a way that is publicly accessible

In this section you will find the mechanisms to access GRM,by submitting a formal complaint. To do this, you can use one of the following options:

REMEMBER THAT COMPLAINS CAN BE ANONYMOUS.

To facilitate the physical reception of requests for information and complaints, the DGM Project has installed physical mailboxes distributed in locations where the DGM Nepal project is implemented in Madhesh and Lumbini Provinces.
