- Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), (DGM Nepal Project) has received a grant from the World Bank towards the cost of DGM Nepal Project and intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the Contract for Procurement of Machinery/Equipment for 2nd batch Small Grantees at Lumbini & Madhesh, Bidding is open to all eligible Bidders from all countries as defined in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, July 2016, revised September 2025.
- The Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), (DGM Nepal Project) invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of Procurement of Machinery/Equipment for 2nd batch Small Grantees at Lumbini & Madhesh,under National competitive bidding – Single Stage Two Envelope procedures.
- Under the Single Stage, Two Envelope Procedure, Bidders are required to submit simultaneously two separate sealed envelopes, one containing (i) the Technical Bid and the other (ii) the Price Bid, both in turn enclosed in one sealed envelope as per the provision of ITB 23 of the Bidding Document.
- Bidders may bid for one or more Packages, as mentioned below and offer discounts/ cross discounts. Evaluation will be done for each Packages, with contracts awarded based on the award combination that is of least cost to the Purchaser provided those discounts are included in the Letter of Bid.

- A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased from the office Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), (DGM Nepal Project) and the office, Gairidhara Marg, Kathmandu by eligible Bidders on the submission of a written application, along with the copy of company/firm registration certificate, and upon payment of a non refundable fee of NRs 3,000 for each package till August 05, 2026 during office hours.

- Pre-bid meeting shall be held at [insert name of office and address] at Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), (DGM Nepal Project) , Gairidhara, Kathmandu on July 27 , 2026
- Sealed bids must be submitted to the Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), (DGM Nepal Project) , Gairidhara, Kathmandu by hand/courier on or before 1:00 PM on August 06, 2026. Bids received after this deadline will be rejected.
- The bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 2:00 PM, August 06, 2026 at the office of Rural Reconstruction Nepal (RRN), (DGM Nepal Project) , Gairidhara, Kathmandu. Bids must be valid for a period of 90 days from the date of bid opening and must be accompanied by a bid security amounting to a minimum of NRs. 150,000 which shall be valid for 30 days beyond the validity period of the bid (i.e.December 03, 2026)
- If the last date of purchasing and /or submission falls on a government holiday, then the next working day shall be considered as the last date. In such case the validity period of the bid and bid security shall remain the same as specified for the original last date of bid submission.
