Arkhottdi Magar Bheja is a traditional group of the Magar community based in Tianu-1, Palpa. The group consists of 1 man and 25 women who are actively involved in producing a variety of attractive Thakal handicrafts, including hats, bags, purses, flower vases, and more, with the support of a small grant from DGM Nepal. This sub-project aims to enhance income generation by utilizing locally available waste materials, while also engaging local women productively during their leisure time. Through this initiative, the group not only preserves traditional craft techniques but also promotes economic empowerment and skill development among women in the community.
