Atal Krishi Sahakari Sanstha

Atal Krishi Sahakari Sanstha is an active and community-oriented agricultural cooperative committed to improving the livelihoods, income, and socio-economic well-being of its members. As a registered cooperative, it has been carrying out various agricultural and livelihood-enhancing activities such as livestock farming, buffalo and cow rearing, and milk collection services. Through these initiatives, the cooperative has been playing a vital role in supporting local farmers, strengthening the dairy value chain, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

In recent years, the cooperative has expanded its activities by initiating banana cultivation on 3 bighas of land. This large-scale banana farming not only helps generate stable income for the cooperative and its members but also contributes to environmental sustainability. Banana plantations support soil conservation, improve greenery, enhance biodiversity, and promote a healthier local ecosystem. The cooperative’s shift toward diversified farming reflects its commitment to climate-friendly agriculture and long-term sustainability.

Atal Krishi Sahakari Sanstha’s approach focuses on empowering farmers through collective action, resource sharing, technical guidance, and improved market access. By providing training, quality inputs, and marketing support, the cooperative ensures that its members can increase productivity, adopt better farming techniques, and achieve economic resilience.

With a vision of creating a self-reliant and prosperous farming community, Atal Krishi Sahakari Sanstha continues to expand its services, encourage modern agricultural practices, and develop income-generating opportunities through livestock management, dairy operations, and commercial banana farming. The cooperative stands as a strong example of how organized community efforts can promote green agriculture, strengthen rural economy, and uplift the livelihoods of local families.
